What is a registry?

Registries provide insights into making care better

A registry is a system that allows one to provide information that will help improve knowledge of mental health and participate in innovative research.

It helps researchers gather valuable information,
identify biomarkers, risk factors, and recruit participants for research.

Why should you take part?

If you are an emerging adult (between 16 and 24 years of age) in the Calgary area who is facing mental health challenges.

What it means to join the registry.

1. Join the Registry
Begin by clicking the Join Registry button
You will be directed to the REDCap platform to share basic information about yourself.
2. Share Your Experience
Take part in surveys and questionnaires
Share your mental health experiences to provide important insights for ongoing research.
3. Contribute to Research
Your input means a lot
Your experiences help researchers identify patterns and understand mental health challenges better.
4. Shape Future Care
Your input leads to evidence-based practices
By joining the registry, you actively play a role in shaping improved mental health care for yourself and future generations.

How do I participate?

The information collected is securely stored on the servers at the University of Calgary.

2. Consent to participate, or to be contacted for future research, or both!
Decide if you want to participate now or be contacted for future research.
You can always change your mind later.

3. Complete the brief series of questionnaires.
We will ask for occasional updates, and you will get a copy of your answers so you can keep track of how your progress.
